State level Chinmaya Geeta Chanting Competition 2023
The prestigious project of Chinmaya Geeta Chanting Competition entered its Third round and the State level finale was taken place on 31st December 2023 at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, Ernakulam. As many as 168 District level winners from various schools of 11 districts in Kerala took part in the event.
This year approximately 24387 students participated at the grass root level. Chinmaya Geeta Chanting Competition, as you are aware was a great dream project of our Gurudev through which he dreamed to initiate children at younger age itself to the learning of Bhagavad Geeta even if they didn’t know the meaning of the contents. In taking forward the intentions of Poojya Gurudev, CSTK with the support and guidance of Poojya Swami Swaroopanandaji through the Bhagavad Geeta Chanting Competition Global Team, conducted the Competition on a three tier planning in 2023. The grand finals of the Competition were held on 31st December at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vaduthala, Ernakulam. 168 children selected from 11 Districts in various groups took part in the Competition.
Sri.M.Anilkumar, Mayor, Corporation of Cochin inaugurated the Competition. Br.Sudheer Chaitanyaji, Sri.T.M.Reghunandanan Trustee-Treasurer CSTK, Sri.K.S.Vijayakumar, Trustee, CMECT (GC) took part in the function. Sri.P.Sasidhara Menon, Co-ordinator, Chinmaya Geeta Chanting Competition expressed vote of thanks.
Prizes to the winners were given away by Dr.Sudarshan, Director, Chinmaya International Foundation Shodasa Sansthan and Sri.Unnikrishnan Nair, Trustee, CMECT (GC).
Participation Certificates to all participants and Certificates and prize money at the rate of Rs.5,000/-, Rs.3,000/- and Rs.2,000/- were given to the winners 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively. Br.Sudheer Chaitanyaji gave leadership and guidance for the event.

Vedanta Course 2024-2025
Chinmaya Mission is conducting the second Vedanta Sadhaka Course, a one-year residential course for the intensive study of the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita and the other important Vedantic texts. The medium of teaching is English. The course is to begin on Kojagiri Purnima, 16 October 2024. The Mukhya Acharya of the course is Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission. The resident Acharya is Swami Sharadananda Sarasvati and Upa-acharya is Br. Ved Chaitanya. This course is a PG Diploma/Diploma in Advaita Vedanta, conferred by Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth. The venue of the course is Chinmaya International Foundation, Adi Sankara Nilayam, Ernakulam, Kerala, the maternal birth-home of Sri Adi Sankaracharya.
The main purpose of this one-year (two-semester) residential course is to help the seeker acquire complete clarity on the teachings of Advaita Vedanta and the various spiritual practices for living the life of a ‘sadhaka’, a spiritual seeker. Such in-depth study of Vedanta, in a Gurukula set-up, will bestow the seeker the right and holistic vision of life in the path to Self-realisation.
